Key Holder at INDIEHOUSE modern fragrances, Downtown Alpharetta 

Looking for a person with solid professional experience in any industry who needs a more flexible schedule and love working on teams to achieve business growth together. This position is a perfect fit for empty nesters, restaurant managers who are tired of the late nights and mandatory weekends, retail associates who want more variety in their sales roles and are excited to learn about new products.

About This Role:

The Key Holder will be charged with the successful tactical execution of all aspects of retail store objectives including the achievement of sales, staff education and training, customer service, clienteling, visual merchandising and overall brand standard execution. 

What success looks like at INDIEHOUSE modern fragrances:

Sales Leadership

  • Responsible for personal, team and store sales and KPI’s
  • Running effective contests/incentives to drive sales
  • Drive and contribute to personal and overall company goals
  • Assist and encourage customers to sign up for our mailing list
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by wearing the product, providing company background information and product knowledge

Training + Development

  • Onboard and train new associates
  • Provide consistent performance management with each Perfumist
  • Ongoing staff training through store meetings, one on ones and group trainings
  • Deliver updates to team and ensure the information has been properly utilized

Customer Service

  • Ensure team is delivering exceptional customer service to guests
  • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner while being resolution-oriented


  • Daily Store Operations
  • Serve as liaison for store with property management team
  • Oversee Opening/Closing task completion
  • Maintain proper store environment and presentation
  • Uphold dress code and friendliness standards set by our mission & culture


  • Sales Analysis and item breakdown to corporate on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Maintain sales records for inventory control
  • Manage product shipments and back stock levels


  • Assist in display of merchandise/execute INDIEHOUSE merchandising plans
  • Partner to get reordered in needed items based on sell through
  • Identify key areas that are being shopped in the store, partner on floor moves if updates are needed mid-season


  • Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting and onboarding their store team

Weekly day range:

  • Tuesday to Friday
  • Rotating weekend days
  • Weekend availability


Competitive hourly wage + tips based on experience & qualifications

Average associate makes $28-32/hour
