Who are we at INDIEHOUSE modern fragrance bar?
We are a new-concept luxury niche and artisan fragrance start-up boutique with big dreams. We carry unique fragrances and personal body products that follow the European Union standard of clean. The EU bans over 2,500 ingredients for toxicity and carcinogens. Our 50+ fragrance brands are all exclusive to us in the metro Atlanta area. We also teach workshops on how to make your own unique fragrance!
What we are looking for:
INDIEHOUSE is looking for a Perfumist to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. If you love the ARTS, would be excited to learn all about the art of perfumery, and educating others on how to find their perfect scent, this position is perfect for you!! Hours are limited to some nights and either a Saturday or a Sunday each week, so this is a great fit for people who are working remote or are recently empty-nesters and are craving interaction with a team of fun people. We celebrate collaboration, dedication and a zest for life! The ideal candidate will help our team with giving elevated customer service to all guests. The Perfumist will report directly to the store manager.
Responsibilities:
Upkeep of storefront & back of house
Operating cash register
Greet, engage, and communicate INDIEHOUSE brand values and philosophy on the sales floor
Demonstrate product knowledge and guide guests through our 3 unique store experiences
Anticipate the needs of your team & customers alike
Aid in fostering a positive, supportive & compassionate work culture and environment for people to shop
Teach fragrance making workshops one to multiple times a week
Aid team in achieving sales goals for personal and store growth

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 18+ to apply
A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred
Must be able to work 4-6 weekend & evening shifts per month (every other Saturday and alternating Sundays)
COMPENSATION:
We work as a team to deliver exceptional service for our customers and as such, share in our successes together. In addition to an hourly rate, all team members share in a percentage of our monthly bonus based on the number of weekend hours worked that contributed to that goal.
Average additional earnings in Q3 2022 were $16.23 per hour on top of the regular hourly wage for an effective hourly rate of $28.23 - $32.23.
