Why coconut soy wax?
Tips for burning your candle:
-We recommend burning your candle from 4-5 hours each lighting to allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the container and prevent tunneling.
-Always, always trim your wick before each burn to 1/4”
-Burn candles on a clean, flat surface out of direct sunlight and away from children, pets and flammable materials.
Our candles are vegan/cruelty free
No animal products are used in our candles, and no animal testing is done by us or our suppliers. Our coconut soy wax is free from stearic acid (sourced from animal fat and used to harden wax) and beewax.
Are your wicks lead free?
Yes, we only use cotton wicks.
We are constantly experimenting with different formulas to bring you the best possible experience to your senses. We do not exceed IFRA/EU limits or use ingredients/materials banned by those organizations. Our scents are all pthalate-free and moderately strong but not overwhelming.
How long do your candles last?
15 oz candle = approx. 65-95 hours burn time
6 oz candle = approx. 35-40 hours burn time
Make sure not to burn our candles for longer than 5 hours each lighting to prevent overheating.
Reduce Waste! Re-use your vessel!
When your candle has finished, simply set the jar in hot water or a warm oven until the left over wax melts. Pour the leftover wax into the garbage and wash the container with soap and warm water. Do not pour wax down the drain - it can clog pipes. Also, please use an oven mitt to handle the hot jar. Another way is to place the candle jar in the freezer for a couple of hours and pop the wax out with a knife (carefully), clean the vessel and reuse.
Is your jar turning black?
If the candle wick develops a mushroom carbo tip (soot), extinguish the candle, allow it to cool and trim the wick. Always trim the wick to 1/4" before each burn to ensure your candle burns evenly and prevents excess wick debris from falling into the candle.
