INDIEHOUSE Returns, Refunds & Authenticity Policy

This policy applies to all INDIEHOUSE retail locations, pop-up activations, workshops, and online orders fulfilled by Modern Perfumery, LLC, INDIEHOUSE Modern Fragrances Alpharetta, LLC, and INDIEHOUSE Modern Fragrances Westside, LLC (collectively “INDIEHOUSE,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By making a purchase through our stores or website, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are designed to ensure product integrity, customer safety, and compliance with U.S. consumer protection laws.

AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE

We guarantee the authenticity of every product sold through INDIEHOUSE retail locations, workshops, or our official website, www.indiehousefragrances.com
.

• We do not sell on Amazon, eBay, or any other mass-market platforms.

• All products are sourced directly from the brand or its authorized U.S. distributor.

• Every item sold is new, unopened, and authentic to the best of our knowledge.

• For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot resell or restock products once they have left our premises.

If you believe you have received a product that may be defective or inconsistent with its description, please contact us at hello@indiehousefragrances.com within 7 days of receipt.

IDENTIFICATION & FRAUD PREVENTION

To protect our guests and prevent fraudulent transactions:

• Photo identification matching the payment method is required for all purchases over $500, whether made in-store or online for in-store pickup.

• INDIEHOUSE reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or hold any order that appears suspicious, is made with a mismatched credit card, or cannot be verified.

• Any attempted use of stolen or unauthorized payment information will be reported to law enforcement.

This policy protects both our guests and our brand partners.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

FINE FRAGRANCES

• All sales are final.
• We do not accept returns or exchanges of fine fragrance or body products, whether opened or unopened. This is for the safety of all guests and to ensure that all products remain uncompromised and authentic.

Exceptions are made only if:

• The item shows a clear manufacturer defect (e.g., broken spray mechanism, contamination, or packaging error); and
• You contact us within 7 days of purchase or delivery for evaluation.

If approved, we will offer exchange or store credit at our discretion.  Refunds are not guaranteed and will be processed only in exceptional cases.

We encourage guests to try testers or discovery sets before purchasing full bottles.

CANDLES & ACCESSORIES
We accept returns within 15 days of purchase provided that:

• The product is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging;
• The product is free of damage, residue, or signs of use; and
• A valid receipt or proof of purchase is provided.

Once returned items are received and inspected, a refund or store credit will be issued, minus any applicable shipping or restocking fees.  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a verified manufacturing defect or shipping error on our part.

WORKSHOPS & SPECIAL EVENT TICKETS

• By purchasing a workshop seat or event ticket, you agree to the Workshop Terms & Conditions provided at the time of booking.
• Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable except as outlined in the Workshop FAQ or when an event is canceled by INDIEHOUSE.

GIFT CARDS

This policy applies to both physical and electronic gift cards purchased in-store or online:

• Gift cards are valid for one (1) year from the date of issue.
• Treat your card as cash — lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.
• Cards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
• Cards may not be used to purchase other gift cards.
• Remaining balances may be applied to future purchases until the expiration date.
• Gift cards are accepted at all participating INDIEHOUSE retail and pop-up locations.

FULFILLMENT & SHIPPING

We ship within the continental United States only via USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
Orders are typically processed within 24–48 hours of receipt, excluding weekends and major holidays.

Delivery & Signature Requirements:

Orders $100 or over may require a signature upon delivery.

If you prefer to release signature requirements, you may submit a signed release directly with your carrier (see tracking confirmation for carrier links).

INDIEHOUSE is not responsible for lost or stolen packages or for packages once they have left our control.

Order Accuracy:
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. Any discrepancies or damages must be reported within 7 days of delivery. After that window, INDIEHOUSE cannot guarantee resolution or replacement.

Shipping Limitations:
We currently do not ship to international addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO, or P.O. Boxes.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

INDIEHOUSE, Modern Perfumery, LLC, and its affiliates are not liable for:

• Loss or damage resulting from misuse, neglect, improper storage, or failure to follow product instructions;
• Personal injury or allergic reactions arising from product use;
• Damage caused by third-party carriers, resellers, or unauthorized sellers;
• Delays or failures due to causes beyond our control (e.g., weather, shipping disruption, or natural events);
• Items purchased through unauthorized channels or resale platforms;
• Misinterpretation of scent, concentration, or performance, which are subjective to each individual; or
• Unauthorized use of our products, intellectual property, or brand materials.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes liability where prohibited by applicable U.S. law.

Product information, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.

Workshop or event bookings made through third-party sites will include associated fees and are subject to their own terms.

We reserve the right to refuse service, shipment, or refunds to any individual or entity for any reason consistent with applicable law.

Errors in pricing or description discovered after order submission may result in cancellation and full refund.
