Since 1981
From mother to daughter, Annick & Camille Goutal have been creating unique fragrances that capture the emotions of life.
Founded in 1981 by artist Annick Goutal, the namesake brand is still driven by the same passion today: to whisper stories in the hollow of the neck. The timeless symbol of this desire, Eau d’Hadrien – the very first fragrance by the House – continues to capture the attention of dreamers in search of olfactory tales.
The first boutique filled with Parisian charm opened on rue de Bellechasse, a Left Bank escape from the heavy, loud heady trends of the 1980's. The House's very personal and avant-garde creations quickly won over a public of connoisseurs and artists. Drawing from nature's rare olfactory combinations, Annick Goutal creates a style all her own that resembles her, made of delicacy and radiance, freshness and character.
The creation of the fragrance Petite Chérie, a second iconic fragrance in the line is a tribute to Camille, Annick Goutal's daughter.
In 1999, Camille took over her mother's legacy and, working with world-renowned master perfumer Isabelle Doyen, has continued the dreamy artistry of the fragrances with the timeless elegance of the package design to become a brand that will never go out of style.
