At INDIEHOUSE, we want you to be OBSESSED with your new fragrance, and we’re here to help if it’s not quite the perfect match.  That’s why we created the INDIEHOUSE Perfume Guarantee, a hassle-free way to exchange your fragrance within 15 days of purchase if it doesn’t turn out to be “the one.”

How it works:

When you order a full-size perfume (30ml or larger) from INDIEHOUSE, we’ll include a matching sample. Try the sample first, and if the fragrance isn’t quite right, you can easily request an exchange. 

Once you submit your request, a team member will get back to you within 3 business days with instructions on how to return your full-size perfume.

  • You must initiate your return within 15 days of receiving your order.
  • The full-size perfume must be unopened, sealed, and in its original packaging.
  • Only full-size perfumes (30ml or larger) are eligible.
  • Sale items, Outlet items, and orders from outside the INDIEHOUSE online shop are not eligible.  
  • If you used a discount code in your initial order, that code cannot be reused or applied to the new order.  The amount paid before taxes is the amount that will be applied to your exchange. 
  • Perfume Guarantee is exchange-only. No refunds for a change of mind.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

1. EXCLUSIONS

Only Perfumes 30ml or larger purchased at full price are valid for Perfume Guarantee exchange.

This guarantee does not apply to` ONLINE PERFUME MAKING KITS, CREATE YOUR OWN PERFUME EXPERIENCES IN-STORE OR ONLINE or to any of our CUSTOM BLENDED SPA PRODUCTS including but not limited to the following:

  • EVERY BODY Oil
  • EVERY BODY Wash
  • EVERY BODY Lotion
  • EVERY BODY mist
  • moisturizing HAIR MIST
  • CUSTOM EDP 30ml & 10ml. 

The following products are also not covered by Perfume Guarantee:

Sets & Travel Size  - includes but not limited to Gift Sets, Travel Sprays, Discovery Sets, Sample Sets (includes INDIEHOUSE Samples & Discovery Sets)

Home Fragrance - includes Candles, Diffusers, Room Sprays, Accessories, Gift Items)

Bath & Body Products -  includes brand fragranced ancillary products like lotions, hair mists, etc.

Brands & Collections excluded from Guarantee - Lalique collectables, Clive Christian, Tiziana Terenzi.

Outlet/Archive Items - Nothing in our ARCHIVE category is eligible. These items are discounted to clear out that inventory and are considered final sale. No refunds or exchanges are available for any products in this category. 

Sales and Storewide Promotions - Any products sold under the MSRP because of limited time promotions like Anniversary or Black Friday sales do not qualify. 

2. PRICE DIFFERENCES

You’re welcome to exchange your perfume for another fragrance of equal or greater value. If there’s a difference in price, we’ll send you an invoice for the remaining balance.  We will not refund or give store credit for any portion of the sale if you decide on a fragrance of a lesser value as the guarantee is clear that exchanges are for product or equal or greater value. 

3. CONDITIONS FOR EXCHANGE

  • Returned goods must be unopened and remain sealed in its original packaging (exchanges will not be considered where packaging has been damaged or compromised and where there is evidence that the cellophane wrapping (where applicable) has been opened and resealed).
  • 15-day return policy. 
  • Full-size perfumes only — 30ml or larger.
  • You may only exchange for another full-size perfume. Sorry, no candles, travel sprays etc.
  • Maximum of one exchange per order number.
  • The replacement perfume must be equal or greater value of return perfume.
  • Unavailable during storewide sale periods or on products from our ARCHIVE outlet.
  • No refunds, full or partial, offered. Exchange only.

Condition of Goods 

Validity of exchange is incumbent on the safe return of goods. Please ensure that your goods are appropriately packed, safeguarding the integrity of the product as well as the packaging. Goods must be returned damage-free and remain sealed in original cellophane wrapping with any seal stickers remaining sealed and untampered with. Failure to comply will result in your Perfume Guarantee exchange being voided.  We will not return to the customer any products that have been tampered with or damaged in transit back to us.  The sample does not need to be returned and is yours to keep.

Return of goods is at your own cost.  Please submit your Perfume Guarantee Request and we'll contact you with next steps, including instructions on where to send the product you wish to exchange.  

Will my new perfume selection include another matching Perfume Guarantee Sample?

No, Perfume Guarantee exchange is valid once per online or gift order. Therefore, a matching sample is not included with your replacement perfume.

Will I receive different samples with my replacement selection?

No, there are no free samples with Perfume Guarantee exchanges. Free samples, or any complimentary sampling, is a one-time offer sent on first dispatch of your original order.
