First, there are a few very distinct qualities that separate regular fragrance from those of luxury quality.
- Luxury fragrances are designed using a global palette of raw materials with exotic and well-balanced accords to project a rich, luxurious character.

They're often multi-dimensional and sophisticated, curated by master perfumers with a discerning nose for quality and luxury.
- We look for unique ingredients sourced from around the world that are made with essential oils, fine fragrance oils, and ones that are often not readily available to the mass-market.
Accords including rich spices, warm woods, earthy, mossy tones, honey smoked florals, bergamot, and mandarin are often associated with luxury fragrances with delicate balances of specialty ingredients, such as jasmine, rose, tobacco, patchouli, vetiver, oud, and chamomile can be used at precise levels to add a unique balance and sophistication to the scent.
At INDIEHOUSE we work with single notes and accords at our Clean Beauty Blending Bar. All of the fragrance oils that we offer are always Pthalate-free and the highest quality available. Accords are a blend of two or more fragrance ingredients mixed together to create a new scent. These are unique blends that can stand alone, but you are welcome to add a little of this or that to truly make them your own!

Bergamot Essential Oil has a spicy-sweet characteristic scent. Our bergamot oil is imported from Italy and is cold pressed. In this variety, the bergaptene content which causes photosensitivity has been removed. This allows the Bergamot to be used in skin care formulations without worrying about sun exposure after use. The aroma is basically citrus, yet fruity and sweet with a warm spicy floral quality, and is reminiscent of Neroli and Lavender oil.

The fresh citrus aroma with green undertones gives this Blood Orange fragrance oil a true-to-life characteristic.
